After the storm the phone started at seven. This one was a terraced house near the market, with the ridge tiles in the back garden and water running down the bedroom wall.
What we did
Bart and two of the crew were there by eleven with a cherry picker, because the garden could not take a ladder safely. By noon the roof was under a tarp and by evening the worst of the damage was temporarily closed.
We took photos for the insurance on the spot and sent them that afternoon with a priced report. The insurer signed off in three days, and the permanent repair took a day and a half: new ridge on dry-fix rolls, 40 replacement tiles and a fresh lead flashing on the chimney.
