What we did
- Day one: stripped the bitumen, repaired the decking and laid 12 cm of PIR insulation.
- Day two: one vulcanised EPDM sheet, new aluminium edging and a new outlet with a leaf guard.
EPDM in a single sheet has no seams on the open roof, and that is where old flat roofs usually fail. It comes with a 20-year manufacturer's warranty on top of our own guarantee. Skip gone and drive swept by four on the second day.
